1024 Harvard Rd
This was the first house I lived in when I moved to Oakland. The home was built in 1912 so it was in need of many upgrades. The first thing we did was update the windows with new energy-efficient ones and replace the sashes. After that big investment we began work to the interior updating the kitchen with new concrete countertops and installing new energy star appliances.
