Alkemi Countertops
Every once in a while, you’ll find an eco-friendly countertop that sings to you. One such product can be found in the Alkemi collection by Renewed Materials, LLC. Made from recycled post-industrial scrap, including soft alloy aluminum flakes, Alkemi countertops are not only beautiful and durable, but they leave behind zero hazardous footprints. Plus, they’re SCS-certified and receive LEED credits.
This brilliant, sustainable material can be used as a countertop or wall surface and comes in various colors, textures and finishes. It installs easily, using solid surface fabrication techniques.
Surface options include textured, classic and honed in 14 different color choices. You can also achieve a satin or gloss finish by polishing the surface after installation. A trained fabricator can do the polishing for you. Custom colors, thicknesses and sizes are available with large orders of 20 or more equal sheets. The sheets come standard in ½” and ¾” thicknesses. The two sheet dimension sizes are 36” x 120” and 36” x 96.”
