Black's Farmwood
Recycled Barn Wood For Modern Beauty
Black's Farmwood has been at it for more than a decade now. They
reclaim wood from old decrepit barns for use as flooring, beams, siding and
other applications. The unique appearance of time-weathered
woods are perfect for the one-of-a-kind remodel, new construction, green
building and historic renovation. These woods are both chock-full of character
and FSC-certified. The end result is less landfill material,
fewer trees cut down and a beautiful finished product for the customer.
What's really cool is that flooring and siding lengths vary slightly.
This adds a more unique "custom" appeal and is also an inherent
reality of the reclamation process. Black's beams, however, are available in
more uniform lengths, not to mention hand-hewn for exquisite rustic character. Species vary, but a few exotics dot the list, including antique heart
pine, jarra (eucalyptus), tobacco barn oak and hemlock varieties. For the
ultimate in rustic looks, gray weathered barn siding is an excellent choice. If
you are interested in a specific species, a 50-percent deposit is required to
secure the order.
