Columbia Forest Hardwood Plywood
We don’t think about plywood flooring as particularly “green”, because in many cases its adhesives have formaldehyde and other harmful chemicals in them. With this plywood flooring, though, it’s different--our green conscience can rest assured. The particle board and veneer are attached with PureBond, a non-toxic soy-based adhesive. The many colors and styles of wood are all from North America, and can be specified as FSC-certified. They are finished with a no-VOC custom color stain.
All of these factors make Columbia Forest Hardwood Plywood LEED and CARB compliant!
The best part, of course, is that it’s beautiful. There are different styles, textures and veneers to choose from, so it’s elegant in the home as well.
