Forbo Marmoleum Flooring
Forbo marmoleum flooring is made from linseed oils, pigments, pine flour and pine rosin on top of a jute backing, much like it was 150 years ago. A biodegradable material, this flooring stands the test of time because pigments carry through to the backing. Marmoleum is true linoleum (linoleum derives its name from linseed oil) and it's so durable that even cigarette burns come out with steel wool or a nylon pad. Marmoleum is all-natural and will never out-gas VOCS into your home. It's nice to the environment, too, as all the components are naturally sourced and renewable.
Marmoleum is only for interior use and should have a flat subfloor beneath it. It's also great for countertops because it's naturally antibacterial. Plus, marmoleum is easy to care for. Unlike vinyl, it is anti-static and does not attract dirt. When it comes to choices for colors, you'll have a ball. From natural tones to wild, bright primaries, marmoleum has what you're looking for.
