Rubio Monocoat
Rubio's Monocoat comes from the collaboration of experienced laboratory teams in the hardwood industry. By closely working together, the group came up with the Monocoat line, a zero-VOC and single-coat oil-based finish. The best part? It looks so good, you may be asked why you didn't go with a more eco-friendly option.
The Monocoat line comes in 34 hues for a complete range of choices to accommodate any design. It's high-tech as well. Monocoat adheres after 15 seconds with the first microns of wood via molecular bonding. As a result of this bonding, one liter of Monocoat can cover up to 400 square feet of flooring. Plus, there is no puddling or variable saturation (dark splotches) in the finished product. In fact, the wood won't accept a second coat - it's that well-sealed. To top it off, if you scratch the floor, Monocoat can be reapplied without creating dark spots because only the exposed fibers will accept the product.
