When compared with other flooring materials, Stratica showed no signs of fading; the UV Light Stability test showed no change in color after 1,500 hours of UV sunlight. Under the same test, vinyl and rubber showed severe yellowing, and linoleum and carpet showed shade fading. Stratica keeps its good looks over time, which means less replacement and decreased landfill waste.
The product contains no plasticizers or chlorine. It’s PVC-free, VOC-free and doesn’t require toxic sealers or harsh cleaning chemicals. The adhesive used to lay the floor contains the lowest VOC level (EC1), and it’s made from 20% recycled material.
Other benefits include sound reduction, reduced foot fatigue, high residual indentation resistance of up to 250 psi, mildew- and odor-resistance, and non-allergenic components. It can be laid on concrete, stone, timber and other types of flooring and is suitable for under-foot heating.
