Vetrazzo Recycled Glass Countertops
There's no question that the kitchen is the focus of tons of remodeling projects--and it's the place where a lot of us spend our time, so we want it to look great, and be practical, while naturally being sustainable as well. One way is through the great number of green options for countertops out there. But I found this one, and was so taken by the combination of ingenuity, design and artistic flare, that I had to spread the word.
Vetrazzo makes recycled glass countertops, using old bottles and waste glass from all kinds of sources. This makes it both green (as in sustainable) and colorful!

I love the look of these, and I think Vetrazzo's designs make great additions to old and new kitchens. This is one way to make your home more beautiful while going green.
