Every one can take a step - even a small one - to improve how they live at home in a way that is beneficial to the environment and can save them time, money and energy.
I am a public relations strategist for the Builders League of South Jersey. As an industry, our members have been moving forward for years to build green homes. We're in the process of building the first Habitat for Humanity home in New Jersey that is built to several green building standards: an infill project in Atlantic City.
In 2010, we will be hosting the Living Green Home Expo at Burlington County College on Feb. 13-14. It's an opportunity for residents to meet a variety of businesses and services that can help them green up their homes. Whether they are moving, remodeling, building, or just maintaining, residents can seek a wealth of new information in one location and begin to build their plans for tomorrow.
